Disability Advice West Lancashire Needs Volunteers!

Disability Advice West Lancashire needs volunteers for their Help Desk and Administration roles.

Help Desk Advisor responsibilities would include:
Answering the main telephone line
Record client details that come in and enters them onto the client database
Deal with any queries that are answerable via the information database
Update the messaging system and deal with telephone voicemails
Greet all visitors who are new to the organisation, drop-in’s and those coming for appointments
Accompany the Benefits Advisers on clients’ home visits
Make reminder phone calls to clients who are assigned appointments for the following day
Other duties as assigned by the Manager, the Information Officer or the Benefits Advisors.

Administration role would include:

Greet all visitors who are new to the organisation, drop-in’s and those coming for appointments
Photocopy clients’ documentation as required
Scan documents on to the Server as requested
Shredding
Other duties as assigned by the Manager and the Administrator
