Get up and go out with Skem Connection

Skem connection is a new group for people who want to socialise more and try new things. Open to all ages and backgrounds it aims to offer a wide range of activities. Having been established for only three weeks, the group of 10 people have already done some wonderful things, such as an Indian meal and a trip to Manchester’s Comic Con. Most members are based in Skelmersdale and Ormskirk, but the group is hoping to grow.

The agenda has a whole host of events to get involved in, from laser tag and pub quizzes. Some events are free, some a little more expensive, but hopefully there will be something for everyone to get involved in.

Coming up, the group have planned a board games evening on 8th August 2018, at the Fiveways pub, Ormskirk. The evening starts at 7:30pm and runs to 10pm and a trip to the Liverpool Horror Fest on Saturday 11th August which runs from 12am – 12pm.

The group runs primarily through their Facebook group – “Skem Connection” but you can also email David Jenkins at: to get involved.

Moving forward, David wants to run polls on facebook and seek the feedback of the members on what they want to do, so why not get involved, suggest something you would like to do with a group of friendly, like minded individuals from West Lancashire.
