Junction 8 Theatre is a theatre company from Chorley who make exciting and bespoke theatre that is rooted in the Lancashire region in which they grew up. Following on from the incredible success of the last show, Under the Market Roof in late 2017, Junction 8 Theatre are excited to present their latest show Lancastrians which will tour Lancashire in April-May 2019. We open the show at Chorley Town Hall next week and we are very excited about it. We have been getting a lot of press about the show including an article in the Lancashire Post.
Lancastrians is a new play made using the real words of 500 people interviewed about their experiences of living in Lancashire. 3 actors will take the audience on a whistle-stop tour of the county, playing a multitude of characters in a variety of locations, creating a snapshot of Lancashire life today. From the familiar to the extraordinary, these little Lancashire stories capture the heart-break and humour of every-day life and the diverse range of voices that fill the corners of the county.  We open the show in Chorley before touring it to Burnley, Preston, Lancaster (The Dukes Theatre), Blackpool and Skelmersdale.
