Ormskirk Community Dance Festival – Another Successful Year!

It was another successful year for the Ormskirk Community Dance Festival.

Katie Whitehead from Divine Days Community Arts CIC said:

“The Ormskirk Community Festival went with a bang – we had 100’s of performers from across West Lancashire taking part in a total celebration of the diversity and talent on offer in our community. Crowds braved the rain and then thankfully the sun shone through as act after act wowed the audience in Coronation Park for this year’s annual Dance Festival hosted by Divine Days Community Arts CIC in partnership with the Park Rangers. The founder and managing director Katie Whitehead said – every year I am amazed by the talent and the wide range of acts on offer we just love all coming together to showcase what we can all do it really was a show stopper this year. My highlight was seeing this year’s winners of The Rachel Georgina Memorial Award receive their trophies from The Mayor of West Lancashire Councillor Neil Furry. We are hoping to grow even bigger next year and are looking forward to hearing from any local dance schools who would like to perform.”
